does this box include the meter or just the test cartridges?
Answer:
Yes, it includes the meter plus two envelopes for each of ten tests. One envelope contains a plastic component for wicking up a large drop of blood and a reagent vial for using it. The other envelope contains a flat black cartridge with chemical components to fit into the meter. The meter contains batteries, electronics, and optical parts for checking the cartridge. The cartridges are matched to the meter, so the meter can’t be used for anything after all the tests are finished. Each time you make a test you see the result, then see an indication of how many tests you have left for the future. I took apart one of the meters and found it interesting.
