Single/Continuous/Difference Measurement

How to do the calibration?
🏅Zero Calibration
The probe keep vertical and touch the substrate, then short press "ZERO" button to complete the zero point calibration
🏅Basic Calibration
1️⃣Long press "LEFT BUTTON " to enter/exit basic calibration. The [CAL] icon will be displayed on the screen. Perform 7-point calibration in sequence (0.0μm, 50.0μm, 100μm, 250μm, 500μm, 1000μm, 1500μm)
2️⃣ If there is a difference between the data on screen and the calibration standard foils, please press" UP/ DOWN" key to adjust the value and make they are the same)
3️⃣ The screen will display [OVER] after calibration. At this time, lift up this paint thickness gauge and [CAL] disappears.
🏅Offset Calibration
In single measurement mode, measure high-thickness base (keep pressing on the base), short press " UP/ DOWN" to adjust the displayed thickness data according to the actual base dada, then leave the base and complete the offset calibration.
How to Judge Automobile Paint?
The thickness of the original car paint is between 100-200um, but the thickness of the touch up paint will be clear.
It may be 500um-1000um or even thicker. According to the standard of economical automobile, the paint surface
of automobile should not be less than 90 um, 90 um is regarded as cutting corners. For any cars standard higher
than USD5000, the paint surface shall not be lower than 120um (hard index) Below 120um is considered as cutting
corners.
📢Buyer Need to Know
👉 Keep the probe away from the meaured substrate when starting up.
👉 "OL"indicates that the value exceeds measurement range.
👉 Do not press the sensor with your finger or other object into the instrument,because this operation may damage the sensor parts and the instrument.
